The business card problem for speech pathologists
Multi-setting practice
Paediatric clinic, hospital, school visits, aged care, private practice, telepractice — the same printed card with one address and one booking link doesn't cover your actual practice. ZapCard lets you update your profile instantly when context changes.
Paediatric referral networks
GPs, paediatricians, early childhood educators, and NDIS support coordinators all refer. Each wants to know your availability, your areas (fluency, voice, dysphagia, language, AAC), and how to refer. One tap from your ZapCard delivers it all.
NDIS participant and plan manager contact
NDIS plan managers and LACs need your provider registration, service agreement, and contact. Your ZapCard profile keeps these accessible without reprinting when registration details change.
New client intake is paper-heavy
Case history forms, consent documents, and Medicare referrals take time. A ZapCard link to your online intake form gets the paperwork started before the first appointment, reducing admin at the session.
Changing clinics means reprinting
Speech pathologists move between practices, expand to new sites, or add telepractice. Printed cards become wrong immediately. ZapCard lets you update clinic address, booking link, and phone once — the physical card never changes.
Client data must stay in Australia
Your clients include children, adults with disability, and aged care residents. Lead-capture and profile data on ZapCard is hosted on AU infrastructure, consistent with the Privacy Act 1988 and relevant health information obligations.
Where speech pathologists use ZapCard
GP and paediatrician clinics
Hand GPs a card they tap once to reach your AHPRA lookup, SPA membership, referral pathway, and booking link. Your referral network grows with every clinic visit — no leaving a paper stack behind.
NDIS plan manager and LAC meetings
Plan managers and Local Area Coordinators refer regularly. Tap your ZapCard to share NDIS provider registration, service agreement, pricing and contact — everything they need to make the referral.
SPA events, conferences, and CPD
Speech Pathology Australia events are dense with professional referrals and practice-building opportunities. ZapCard makes every conversation exchangeable in one tap.
Hospital discharge planning
When hospital speech pathologists refer patients to community or outpatient providers, a tap shares your availability, specialisations (dysphagia, aphasia, AAC), and booking link with the discharge coordinator.
Early childhood settings
Early intervention referrals come from maternal health nurses, kindergartens, and childcare centres. Tap your card at each visit so coordinators have your booking link and intake form to hand to parents immediately.

Common questions
Can I update my profile when I change clinics?
Yes. Log into your ZapCard dashboard, update your clinic address, phone, and booking link — changes go live on every future tap. Your physical card never changes. No reprinting required.
Does ZapCard work for telepractice speech pathology?
Yes. You can add your telepractice platform link (Coviu, Zoom, or clinic portal) directly to your ZapCard profile. When clients or referrers tap the card, they see your current telepractice details alongside your clinic information.
Is ZapCard suitable for NDIS speech pathology providers?
Yes. Add your NDIS provider registration number, NDIS service agreement, and intake form to your profile. Profile data is hosted on AU infrastructure, consistent with the Privacy Act 1988.
Do I need to reprint my card if I change my Medicare provider number?
No. Your card stores no personal details — just a URL pointing to your editable profile. Update your Medicare provider number in your dashboard and it's live immediately. The physical card stays the same.
Can I add multiple clinic locations?
Yes. List all your practice locations on your profile, along with separate booking links for each if needed. ZapCard supports up to 3 profiles per account, useful if you maintain different identities across different practice types.
Is my client data private and Privacy Act protected?
Yes. ZapCard profile and lead-capture data is hosted on Cloudflare's secure network. Konquer Media Pty Ltd is the data controller under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
