Works on every
modern phone.
ZapCard uses NFC technology built into virtually every smartphone made since 2017. Just hold the card to the back of any phone — your profile opens instantly in their browser. No app to download. No settings to change.
How NFC works with ZapCard
iPhone (XS+)
Hold the card to the top back of the phone. A notification slides down — tap it to open your profile in Safari. Works from the lock screen, no app needed.
Android (8+)
Hold the card to the center back of the phone. A notification appears instantly — tap to open in Chrome or your default browser. Works even when locked on most phones.
Older phones
No NFC on their phone? Share your profile link straight from your own phone — text it, email it, AirDrop it. Same profile, same details.
iPhone
Every iPhone from XS/XR onwards (released 2018) has native NFC reading. No app, no setup — it just works.
Android
Android 8.0 (Oreo) added native NFC support in 2017. Virtually every Android phone sold since then can read ZapCard with a tap.
Met someone with an older phone?
The card itself carries nothing but the bolt — no QR, no clutter. If a phone is too old to read the tap, just send your profile link from your own phone: text, email, or AirDrop. Same profile, same details, still zero typing for them.
